We have written to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, urging the appointment of a dedicated Commissioner for Animal Welfare who can lead the EU in the protection of animals used in science, including the development and implementation of a roadmap to phase-out regulatory animal testing for chemicals.EU report further reveals shocking scale of animal suffering in science
